The Terrace · The Rock House: Historic Gem- in Heart of the City

Positive: The location. Negative: The house had a horrible smell drainge-egg smell. The front door was very difficult to close and open. The toilet taps were very hard to turn. The carpet in the whole house was rough and hard to walk on. Also the carpet and the house had a lot of dust. We were also provided with the wrong door number. I feel the customer care was not very professional. The property looks very different on website. I was disappointed with the property.

Positive: We loved the home feel about the place. Location was brilliant. Property was clean and comfortable. Negative: Nothing. It was lovely.

The Rock House is the perfect cozy family retreat. Positive: The Rock House was the perfect cozy family retreat in the heart of the city. After a day of walking, we could pick up take away (so many great options nearby) & enjoy it inside, and then take a long bath before bed. The beds were comfy & the kids loved having their own space. The beautiful views from the main room, master bedroom, & terrace were a bonus. It felt like a home away from home. Negative: It is up on a hill, so be prepared for some stair walking from the nearby parking structure.

A charming cottage in the heart of the city Positive: Het Terrace Apartment voelde als een English cottage middenin Edinburgh. Het appartement heeft veel charme en ligt op een perfecte locatie. Dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden en toch op een relatief rustige plek in de stad. De badkamer is ruim, de keuken is van diverse gemakken voorzien en ook de slaapkamers zijn erg ruim. Negative: Het tweepersoonsbed is nogal smal. Een breder bed zou prettiger zijn. Daarnaast is de antieke bank bij de eettafel prachtig, maar niet heel praktisch om daarmee aan een ronde tafel te zitten.
