A unique home base in the heart of Edinburgh. Positive: This is a charming property in the perfect location. Full of history. (The renowned former owner photographers have photos in the Scottish portrait gallery.) Tree top views. Lovely courtyard. And an iron gate that had passersby wondering where it led!

Loved the setting and character of this unique historic property and would definitely return! Positive: Charming and cozy historic setting! Loved having a separate living area. Really appreciated the flexibility and attentiveness of the management company allowing us to check in earlier than we had planned after a long journey. Negative: Please provide tissues for guests as a convenience. The shower size was a little cramped and had some mildew on the tiles. A little hard to find the access panel on the inner side of the entrance gate- some more instructions would have been helpful.

Positive: Atmosfera bellissima, la casetta è curata ed è molto bella, è circondata dalla natura, molto rilassante. Struttura pulita, dentro è accogliente e c'è tutto ciò che serve!

Karakteristiek huisje op een mooie locatie. Positive: De locatie. Prima plek vlakbij het centrum en toch rustig. Veel andere toeristen keken jaloers als wij ons hek in gingen. Ruime slaapkamer. Negative: Het appartement is niet echt ingericht om zelf te koken. Je kunt niet prettig aan de tafel zitten. Maar als je dat niet van plan bent is het verder oké.

A wonderfully historic and cozy stay in the heart of Edinburgh. Positive: It felt that we were in the country, while really being in the heart of Edinburgh. The location, with all the shrubbery surrounding the house was stunning. The two floor layout was fantastic, cool downstairs for sleeping, warm upstairs for cooking meals, reading etc.. Cozy would be a fitting description. Negative: The bathroom needed a bathmat and shower caddy for the shower. Lighting for the circular stairs and cooking areas was inadequate/ burnt out. Drain board/ dish rack would have been useful to protect the wood counter. The washing machine (being a high revolution one) needs to be properly secured to the floor.
