Gorgeous house and garden with comfortable beds and fabulous location at the base of Calton Hill Positive: Fabulous location at the base of Calton Hill. Gorgeous garden and loved the way the rooms were furnished. The beds were so comfortable! Loved the large kitchen and living area where we could all gather. Very clean. The whole property was gorgeous. Check in was easy. Negative: The stove had no instructions. The kitchen is well outfitted and calling for large group meals. So to not be able to operate the stove was a big miss. We ended up with a a lot of food we couldn’t cook for breakfast on the last morning. And the checkout instructions were vague and difficult to follow (where do we take the rubbish out on the street?) And, response times to questions were slow. Luckily we didn’t have many.

This was the perfect spot for visiting Edinburgh for the first time!

Absolutely perfect!! Cannot wait to go back! Positive: The location was perfect! It was cozy and charming- exactly what I wanted in a Scottish home. Communication with Marco was excellent. We had a little water issue which he addressed within minutes! And went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied! The home is spacious and has everything you need for a short or long stay. Furniture and beds were extremely comfortable too. We loved having morning tea out in the yard! Negative: Having to leave:(

Wonderful stay. Positive: Great location and beautiful house. Negative: Gate is a little hard to open and close.
